2018. June 18. Sowing of Seeds
In Kerala we have both seed sowing on wet land and dry land. On June 18th, our children would get involved in seed sowing on dry land.
2018 June 20. Cultivation of Vegetables
The staff and children would begin planting of saplings of different vegetables such as cheera, beans, snake gouard, chilly, pumpkin, ash gouard, ladies finger and so on.
2018. July 2. Dukrana Feast
Madonna would celebrate Feast of Dukrana, which is a historical feast of India, commemorating the arrival of St. Thomas the Apostle of Jesus in India in A. D. 52. The Syriac word Dukrana means ‘Commemoration.’
2018. July 16. Feast of Mother of Mount Carmel
A special prayer will be organized on the July 16th, the patron saint of the Congregationof Mother of Carmel.
2018 August 18. Blessing of the New Edifice
Bishop Pauly Mar Kanookadan will bless the new edifice constructed at Madonna Residential Home premise on 18th August 2018. Rev. Sr. Rose Mary, Provincial, Udaya Province will be present at the auspicious occasion.
2018 August 20. First Death Anniversary of Sr. Rubina
Our dearest founder Rev. Sr. Rubina CMC left for her heavenly home on 17th August 2017. A special Requiem Holy Mass will be offered on 20th August 2018 commemorating her first death anniversary.
2018. August 21. Onam Celebration
As the whole of Kerala celebrates Onam as a state festival, Madonna will also organize its celebration with different kinds of competitions, payasam and Onam Sadya, preparation of floral carpet and so on.
